Helpful Interview Tips

As Jobconnekted we aim of helping you get the biggest advantage in the workspace, but that all starts as a jobseeker who is willing to give their all in doing the best & that is from starting to prepare early before even being called up.

We believe that preparation is the best medicine & a well oriented person gets easy confidence when they are walking in an interview room.

This is why we are proud to introduce our hopefully, helpful tips for Anyone/everyone with Zero experience in the corporate or non-corporate workspaces or in any industry for that matter. We are hoping that this help you understand the standard questions that you’ll need to answer in an upcoming interview, As well as how to physically, mentally prepare yourself for anything that might come up.

OKAY, so let’s begin with this

-Companies really love someone who is informed & knows what they are talking about, so we’d advise you to do a little research into the company maybe a 10-minute Google search into what they are about.

-Be compelling tell them a story ( have you ever fixed a light bulb?) what led to that decision making? did you learn anything from it? show them that you can communicate as well as problem solve.

-Has there been any time that you’ve worked with people & are you good with people? Apply pressure and ask questions , this solely makes you stand out & YOU HAVE TO STAND OUT!!!

“Just being average when looking for a job wont help the interviewer get to know the real you in those few minutes that you have…” JR Dlamini – Former HR office

FIRST IMPRESSIONS MATTER

You should always remember and keep in mind that those first 30/60 seconds matter

  • ENERGY
  • SIT UP STRAIGHT
  • SMILE
  • FIRM HANDSHAKE
  • EYE CONTACT

-IT all matters because the way that you are introducing yourself, you are indicating that you are serious and you mean business.

You are show casing your value starts in how you present yourself and this is a huge tick.

-Be self-aware of your weaknesses which is your strongest suit in nailing the interview, tell them a time that you used your weaknesses and overcame them, Be realistic and know the role that you are applying for and what it needs, Once again guys, we advise you to be highly informed in everything you are doing and research, research, research.

Show interest & ask questions, this is for your benefit & YES, it shows that you care that is another tick, be polite & be honest as well as kind, a well oriented person is admirable to hire so be one.

hope this segment helped and we are hoping to hear from you, please let us know if you have any questions and some suggestions leave a comment.

sincerely
